Rocky Lamonde
Rocky Lamonde
Smitten by KISS, he was playing Pittsburgh bars at age 16 before discovering the Faces and the Rolling Stones. With Rod Stewart, Ronnie Wood and Keith Richards as inspiration, he formed the pub-rocking, Motown-flavored Borstal Boys and further entrenched himself in his beloved Pittsburgh music scene. Today, bassist Rocky Lamonde is promoting the Borstal Boys’ latest album, “Crumbs,” while championing Pittsburgh musicians through his recording studio, website and unwavering enthusiasm.
