His love of heavy metal was born in a Burger King drive-thru and today at the young age of 20, he’s signed to the legendary Metal Blade Records. Void vocalist Jackson Davenport joins us to discuss his band’s “haunted,” power-thrash metal; the recent concept album, “Forbidden Morals;” his unapologetic love of hair metal; touring with Dark Angel and Sacred Reich; and how a pair of vintage tennis shoes and some really cool parents helped kick the band into high gear.
